"I've held so many positions, and experienced so many things that I will never standby and let the evils of humanity destroy the innocence of children, and the peace of adults fighting to become the best versions of themselves, if I can help it. I am a front line person. I will have your back, I will always love and respect my fellow man, woman and child and treat others as my family. We just want to practice the art and sport of Archery in peace." - Coach Chris

IS ARCHERY SAFE? YES!
“Archery has one of the lowest injury rates with a 0.57 injury rate per 1,000 participants, ranking safer than golf, tennis and fishing, according to the 2017 National Electronic Injury Surveillance System. Archery is for anyone who wants to participate. Whether the goal is to get out and socialize, become active, or to make a U.S. Olympic, Paralympic or World Championship Team, archery is a sport that lends itself to any ability, age or skill level. Archery is also one of the most inclusive and equitable team sports available.” Click here for more information regarding statistics from the USA Archery Website safety brochure.
Message from ArrowPath Archery
In addition, ArrowPath Archery Academy's director Christopher Boyd is very welcomed to background screening to ensure you and your loved ones are in good hands. Over the last decade Coach Chris has undergone various fingerprinting and FBI level background checks for positions that require it. In the climate that we reside in, it is unfortunate that one has to state this. Coach Chris has operated in governmental positions that require higher level background checks, even higher than his Archery specific credentials. Having worked in a military police capacity, to Juvenile Justice, as well as Child Protective Investigator, and vetted by the Florida Department of Aging Services, DJJ and DCF. He is very much documented. Coach Chris is never to hard up for assistance where he allows un-vetted individuals around you or your loved ones. ArrowPath Archery Academy..."DOES NOT PLAY WITH THAT". All members are treated as if they are family, because they are.
ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY KEY POINTS
Discrimination of any kind, in person, via telecommunications, social media, or anything else will be an undebatable cause for complete termination for participating with ArrowPath.
Aggressive, combative and condescending behavior that targets the integrity of community based sporting events, will not be tolerated at anytime, and is subject to direct confrontation by the director, and or law enforcement if necessary and immediately.
Any individual who has been found to exploit others, children, elderly and those with special needs will immediately and swiftly be dismissed from being present during sessions and ArrowPath Archery Academy Activities.
Any indications of being impaired under drugs and alcohol during ArrowPath Archery Academy sessions and events will lead to being asked to depart from that particular event.
We have the Freedom of Speech, and as a veteran I respect this right. I kindly ask that anything non-related to Archery, such as topics that arouse disagreement (I.e. politics, religion, sexual orientation, race and culture *to name a few) be discussed away from the training area as pupils train to become the best version of themselves in the sport and art of Archery.
